Réunion Island Rum Traditionnel
Introducing the Réunion Island Rum Traditionnel, a molasses-based beauty from Distillerie de Savanna, tropically aged in ex-cognac casks for three years and bottled in New York at 46% ABV.
Once a common ingredient in tiki cocktail recipes of the golden era, this historic style has been largely unavailable in the U.S. — until now. A French molasses rum from Martinique and Reunion was used in the recipes for many of the original Trader Vics and Don the Beachcomber cocktails including the Mai Tai and the Last Rites. Whether you go retro or modern, we know that you will create your own classics.
